Simone Biles

Simone Biles, American gymnast (born 14 March 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.), was considered as the best athlete in sport. Biles was the very first American female gymnast in history to have won four gold medals at one Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to ever win successive World All-Around championships. Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first drawn to gymnastics while she was only six years old. Her coach Aimee Borman took her to Bannon's Gymnastix, where they went for an outing. Biles earned a silver in vault in 2010 and a bronze at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to competitions at the elite level in the year 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport less than two year later. The thing that set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines throughout every event - vault, uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
