Angela Sun

Angela Sun is a journalist film maker, documentary journalist and television host. Angela Sun was born on September 19, 1979 in Santa Clara County California. She has won awards for her work as a journalist sportscaster producer and actress. She graduated from University of California with a diploma in communications and sociology. Sun has a great surfing ability and was a participant in numerous Pro-Am Surf competitions that led to her getting sponsorships from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The fame she gained through participating in these events that propelled Sun into the world of entertainment. Sun later went on to become an investigative sportscaster and film director. Sun was employed by several news channels mainly as anchor. In 2003, she was reporter for Fox Sports Net. She hosted American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute from 2014 to 2015. She is also the first Asian American celebrity to appear on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun has starred in many movies and received not only praise but also fame for her acting talent. Sun has appeared in films like Goliath 2016 (Hit the Floor, 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway (2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. Sun, who wrote and produced her documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch on marine plastic pollution and the environmental effects in 2014, released the feature length film.
