Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez was born in Sri Lanka and is an actress and model, who has primarily worked in the Indian film industry. Her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka Universe title was also taken by her. Coming from a family that includes Canadian, Sri Lankan, and Malaysian heritage, Fernandez spent the early portion of her life in Bahrain. The degree she earned is in mass communication from the University of Sydney. She worked for many years as a journalist on television in Sri Lanka before she entered the world of modelling. Following her participation in Miss Universe 2006, she has become one of the top actors in Sri Lanka. On a tour for professional models through India in 2009, Jasmine was cast as Aladin by Sujoy Ghosh. In 2011 she was cast in the part of Priya in the role of the female lead on "Murder 2". The actress' career took off after the film's critically and commercial success. Since then, she has appeared in films like Housefull 2 and 3, 'Race 2', 'Definition of Fear' as well as Judwaa 2. She also serves as an ambassador for several multinational brand names. She is also a devoted social activist who has numerous organizations and causes.
